David Getches, who is in his eighth year as dean at the University of Colorado School of Law, is stepping down as of next summer. Getches, a University of Southern California law graduate and expert in natural resources and American Indian law, has been on the Colorado faculty since 1979. He plans to return to the classroom next year.
