Advertising update

After a slow start to the new blog site, traffic has returned to about 275,000 page views per month, which is almost back to the levels of the old blog site. (The counter on WordPress is different than what I used at Typepad, which seems to have picked up more bots, but I’m unsure). Thanks to the thousands of readers who stuck with me through the transition!

There is one spot at each level available in May: $550 for a top spot, $450 for a second from the top, $350 for a third from the top. I haven’t decided yet on my summer blogging schedule, but rates will be lower then, going back up in September. Please take note of my new policy on advertising MA and PhD programs and feel free to email me with questions about that.

Finally, let me note that I am exploring new ways of running blog polls that eliminate problems with the earlier platforms. If these work out, I hope to run new polls soon about “best journals” and the like.
