Jonathan Cottrell (early modern philosophy, esp. Hume), previously a permanent member of academic staff at the University of Edinburgh and, most recently, a visiting faculty member at York University, Toronto (where his wife, the philosopher of law Maggie O’Brien, teaches), has taken up a tenured position this fall as Associate Professor at the University of Toronto (Scarborough campus, with graduate teaching at the St. George campus).
