The idiosyncratic MacArthur Foundation finally picks a philosopher for the Fellowship windfall after many years of ignoring philosophy

Felipe de Brigard (philosophy of mind and cognitive science) at Duke University was the lone philosopher among this year’s winners. As we noted long ago, these are definitely not “genius” awards, but it’s still nice to see a meritorious award to a philosopher!
