Rational Choice Theorist Bicchieri from Carnegie-Mellon to Penn

Cristina Bicchieri at Carnegie-Mellon University has accepted appointment as Professor of Philosophy and Decision Science and Director of the Philosophy, Politics & Economics Program at the University of Pennsylvania, starting in July. Bicchieri works at the intersection of game and rational choice theory and moral and political philosophy, and is coming to Penn with the opportunity to make additional appointments in these areas. Given recent losses in these areas at Penn, this is an important development for value theory and cognate fields at Penn.
