This time it’s the University of Arizona–mostly grad students, some faculty.

Here’s a thought: if every department gets a blog, they will soon become important sources of information for prospective students about departmental life, teaching, mentoring, etc. Each March, say, those with comments features could invite discussion with prospectives. Of course, there will be a certain cost to candor in such exchanges, given their public nature, but they are likely to provide helpful, supplemental information to prospective students.

UPDATE: Already several Arizona faculty have signed on, so now it’s about evenly mixed between grad students and professors.
