Republican “Base” Ecstatic Now that Ignorant Yahoo is on the Ticket

I think that’s the correct translation of the point of this story, which, alas, omits her fondness for creationism.  She is, in short, the female Mike Huckabee, another out-of-his-depth yahoo from the Republican primaries.

UPDATE:  Republican elites, such as these right-wing bloggers, are not amused by the choice.

ONE MORE:  "Ignorant yahoo" may barely do justice to the make-believe world Governor Palin inhabits; from a 2006 questionnaire filled out by gubernatorial candidates in Alaska:

Question: Are you offended by the phrase “Under God” in the Pledge of Allegiance? Why or why not?

Palin: Not on your life. If it was good enough for the founding fathers, its good enough for me and I’ll fight in defense of our Pledge of Allegiance.

The Pledge of Allegiance did not exist at the time of the founding, and the words ‘under God’ were added in the 1950s, during the Cold War.

UPDATE:  The Alaska Eagle Forum has removed the embarrassing questionnaire from its web site, but you can find it here.
