Philosopher of Biology Wimsatt to Take Up Winton Chair at Minnesota

My esteemed colleague William Wimsatt, the distinguished philosopher of biology who (sadly) took emeritus status last year here at Chicago, will now take up the Winton Chair at the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis-St. Paul, where he will teach full-time each fall term for the next three years, and also participate in other activities the rest of the academic year.  He will join two other philosophers of biology at Minnesota, C. Kenneth Waters and Alan Love.
