I am told that there are some hopeful signs from KCL, that the administration is beginning to realize that KCL will fall off the face of the earth as far as major research universities go if they follow through with the initial course of action.  I hope to have more concrete news to report before too long.  In the meantime, this blog has some excellent coverage of the entire fiasco.
