Another Horrendously Pernicious Decision by the U.S. Supreme Court

Here (and the full opinion here). And do see the comments by Judge Posner on the original decision and Judge Easterbrook's decision in the 7th Circuit, which the Supreme Court has now reversed.  The only good news is that the case has now been remanded back to the 7th Circuit, which may yet find a way to sustain some, albeit not all, of the sensible gun regulations.  Chicago and Oak Park will also, as I understand it, enact new regulations designed to achieve the same objectives, but less likely to run afoul of the new rule laid down by the super-legislature known as the U.S. Supreme Court.
