Michael Glanzberg (philosophy of language, mathematical logic, metaphysics), currently Professor of Philosophy at the University of California at Davis, has accepted a senior offer from the Department of Philosophy at Northwestern University, to start this fall.  Glanzberg has had a number of offers, including from top twenty departments, so this is a significant pick-up for Northwestern, which now has a strong cluster in philosophy of language (including, besides Glanzberg, Cariani and Ludlow).
