Two Senior Hires for USC: Uzquiano Cruz and Wedgwood, both from Oxford

Gabriel Uzquiano Cruz (philosophical logic, philosophy of mathematics, metaphysics, philosophy of language), CUF Lecturer in Philosophy at Oxforfd University, and Ralph Wedgwood (metaethics, epistemology), Professor of Philosophy at Oxford University have both accepted senior offers from the University of Southern California.  Uzquiano Cruz will start this fall, Wedgwood will start in January 2012.   (The addition of Wedgwood to a tenured faculty already including Stephen Finlay and Mark Schroeder will surely give USC one of the very best metaethics faculties in the U.S.)
