“Brainless storm” blogger Naomi Schaefer Riley dropped by CHE

Long overdue, as we noted before.  If we had a civilized media, she would be persona non grata everywhere, outside her living room.  But she will no doubt find a niche somewhere in the Murdoch Faux News Reich (at least while it lasts!).

UPDATE:  And the right-wing lying begins.  (The New York Post is, of course, part of the Murdoch Faux News Reich.)

ANOTHER:  Commentary is apparently poised to overtake National Review for witless commentary on the affair du jour.

NOT TO BE OUTDONE one of her friends at the National Review chimes in.  Qua sociological phenomenon, this is getting quite interesting.

THE SLEAZIEST OF THE RIGHT-WING SLIME-AND-SMEAR MERCHANTS is now on the case.  None of these intellectual midgets can acknowledge that she is devoid of ideas, or arguments, or knowledge, or even rhetorical skill.  The only misfortune here is that she wasn't fired sooner.

THIS IS GETTING FUNNIER:  She's now been promoted to a "major critic of black studies."    She's not even a minor critic, for God's sake!  But in the right-wing crazy echo chamber, where the Dunning-Kruger Effect reigns supreme, who can tell the difference?

ANOTHER (MAY 8):  The right-wing mythology about this event is now firmly entrenched.
