Former Miami Grad Student sues University as well as Colin McGinn and colleague

I have been travelling, so have not had time to fully digest the complaint, but the Huffington Post has a good account and the full text of the complaint.  When I spoke with the HP reporter about two weeks ago it was not yet clear whether a lawsuit would be filed, but obviously things have changed in the interim.  The complaint is damning, and it will be difficult for McGinn, in particular, to defend against these allegations one suspects.  (The University will argue, of course, that they did successfully remove McGinn from his tenured position.)  I have been glad to see enthusiasm among philosophers in support of legal redress against tortious wrongdoing, a remedy that has been overdue in far too many cases.  When I have a chance to read this more carefully, I will post updates with any additional observations that are relevant.
