Northeastern makes two senior appointments in moral/political/legal philosophy

They are Adam Hosein, Associate Professor of Philosophy at the University of Colorado at Boulder, and Matthew Noah Smith, Associate Professor of Philosophy at the University of Leeds.  (We were fortunate to have Hosein as our Law & Philosophy Fellow at the Law School at Chicago a few years ago.)   Northeastern recently added Branden Fitelson, a leading contributor to formal epistemology and decision theory, from Rutgers University at New Brunswick, so it seems clear they are building up the national profile of the department.
