All the philosophers who "publish" in the "journal" PHILOSOPHY STUDY are doing it. Some may not realize it, but they are. Also, it doesn't help that both the Philosopher's Index and https://philpapers.org index the "publications" in it. The papers in PHILOSOPHY STUDY should not be legitimized in this way.

I was on a hiring committee last year and I noticed that a few candidates had published in predatory journals. I suspect that means that, likely, more than a few had: I suspect that plenty of the people whose applications I only gave a cursory read (either because they didn't fit our AOS or because they were very clearly unqualified in some other way) had, as well. But I still suspect the number was fairly small.
