MLA members launch petition calling on Judith Butler to resign as President-elect of the organization…

in light of her apologetics for sexual harassers, notably in the Ronell case, but let's not forget an earlier incident.  As Martha Nussbaum observed years ago, well before these incidents, Butler's "hip quietism…collaborates with evil."  This has turned out to be true in more ways than anticipated.  [NOTE:  the first hyperlink is a link to the petition.]
