A nice note from a philosopher in New York City, with two interesting twists

A NYC philosopher writes:

Just a quick note to thank you for the helpful information on your blog.  Even my upstairs neighbor, an immunologist in the thick of things, often finds your links helpful. It’s interesting to reflect on all the ways your blog has helped over the decades, going far beyond its original purpose.

I got a kick out of the fact that even the immunologist neighbor finds some helpful links!   And "over the decades":  I guess it's true, I did most of the aughts, all of the 10s, and now we're into the 20s.   And while I can recall covering the Iraq War, Hurricane Katrina, and other fiascos, this one really is in a league by itself.
