Over 9,000 new confirmed cases in Chicago over the last week, the highest recorded number ever (the previous high, last Spring, was over 7,000, but that surely wildly undercounted, as Chicago was doing about 25% of the daily testing that's being done now). On the other hand, Cook County, where Chicago is, is averaging about 30 cases per 100,000, well below other parts of Illinois which are closer to the neighboring disaster areas, especially Wisconsin, but also Iowa and Missouri.
What a fiasco the Trump Virus has been. Apart from Bolsonaro, we couldn't have had a worse national leader during this world-historic event.
