New philosophy rankings released

No, not the ones that matter, but a new effort to rank philosophy programs based on the percentage of faculty and graduate students who "think correctly" (the "TCR" for short) (Linda Alcoff tried this a number of years ago, but it failed.)   The top five programs in the new TCR rankings are British Columbia, UC Merced, Southern California (but ignore Scott, he'll retire soon), and the Rhetoric and Comparative Literature Departments at Berkeley.  There may be some controversy about the fact that MIT was apparently dropped from the survey after the organizers realized that Alex "Bad, Lazy Philosophy Guy" Byrne taught there.

The editors of this new effort are "Smarmy" Jonathan Ichikawa and Carolyn "Dicey indeed" Jennings; they surveyed more than 300 Twitter users to come up with these results.  You can read the full rankings here.
