Troubles at the Liberty Fund?

An informative piece of reporting about some tragic events and what they reveal about the direction of the right-leaning Liberty Fund.  Many philosophers will have participated in Liberty Fund events, although unlike, say, Social Philosophy & Policy conferences, the Liberty Fund has tended to invite more marginal figures on the right end of the spectrum, which may be why it has never been as influential in academic philosophy.  I have heard good reports, however, from some philosophers in the past, so it would be a loss if it is veering off in a less intellectual direction and more mindlessly partisan political direction.
