A propos this (and especially this), it was recently brought to my attention that philosopher Sandra LaPointe (McMaster), opined as follows on Twitter:

Professor Lapointe doesn't indicate what Justice Ginsburg's contributions to philosophy were (because there aren't any, of course), although they presumably weren't to Professor Lapointe's narrow silo of history of philosophy of logic, language, and mind.  Indeed, those who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones about "silos" at scholars who actually work in two different disciplines, and whose interests and publications are far broader than theirs.   Given, however, Professor Lapointe's track record, I'm not surprised.
