Stacie Friend (aesthetics, philosophy of language & mind), currently Reader in Philosophy, has accepted appointment as Reader in Philosophy at the University of Edinburgh. Milo Philips-Brown (philosophy of mind, language & technology; applied ethics), currently Associate Professor of Philosophy at Oxford University, has accepted appointment as Lecturer in Philosophy at Edinburgh. Both will start in the 2023-24 academic year.
