Great moment in obscure rock ‘n’ roll: Culpeper’s Orchard, “Mountain Music (Part I),” 1970

Reader Ian York tipped me off to this Danish progressive rock band, that recorded several albums in the early and mid-1970s, with some modest success in Europe.  This comes from their debut:

  1. Solid prog rock! Never heard of them before this, and yet connections to better known artists are just around the corner. According to a blog post the vocalist worked with Sandy Denny and Strawbs: https://rockasteria.blogspot.com/2022/03/culpepers-orchard-mountain-music.html

    I can't find a special connection of Culpeper to Denmark, only the town in Virginia. Curious.
