60 more universities targetted in Trump’s fake war on anti-semitism on campus

This is ominous, and I hope all these schools are preparing legal action to stop this abuse of power.  The University of Chicago is not on any of these lists, and not because we didn't have anti-Israel demonstrations on campus.  We aren't on these lists because:  (1) there is no anti-semitism problem here, to put it mildly; and (2) UChicago has a good reputation in Repug circles going back to Milton Friedman (thanks Milton!) and UChicago has had a genuine, and longstanding, commitment to free expression and academic freedom (going back to when Robert Hutchins told the Illinois legislature in the 1930s to "fuck off" [he said it in Latin] when it complained because a communist spoke on campus).  We'll see how long that good luck lasts.
