Dear Cara,

Thank you so much for reaching out. I’d ordinarily be delighted to do the interview, but unfortunately the timing may be difficult.

I’m leaving shortly for Antarctica, where I’ll be spending the next six years studying whether penguins have a sufficiently robust conception of property rights to sustain a market economy.

Previous research has focused almost exclusively on their mating and feeding behavior, so there is a significant gap in the literature.

Internet access at the research station is extremely limited. I’m told we should have reliable Zoom access for approximately eleven minutes every third Thursday, weather permitting, although bandwidth is shared with the Norwegian station nearby and they have priority during seal emergencies.

If Blank Page FM would still like to proceed, I’d certainly be interested. I should warn you that the penguins cannot be removed from the interview area, and experience suggests that they become quite agitated whenever anyone defends progressive taxation.
