…as this NYT story makes clear (that’s not its point): instead of just killing his political enemies, Trump has tried to prosecute them, and his efforts have repeatedly been rebuffed by the courts, and his enemies are still out there and free. If we have free and fair midterm elections in the U.S., the malevolent buffoon/gangster is finished. But he’s the biggest threat to that happening, needless to say.
