William Demopoulos (philosophy of logic and mathematics, philosophy of science and physics, history of analytic philosophy) at the University of Western Ontario has accepted a senior offer from the Department of Logic and Philosophy of Science at the University of California, Irvine, to start in January 2005. This will solidify Irvine’s status as one of the handful of leading centers in these areas in North America.
