Distinguished philosophical/blogging couple Benjamin Hellie (philosophy of mind) and Jessica Wilson (metaphysics, philosophy of science) have accepted the tenure-track offers from the University of Toronto noted earlier.  This is turning in to a big year for Toronto, which is making a (successful) push for a stronger presence in Hellie’s and Wilson’s areas.

One suspects that, like Charles Travis’s move from Northwestern to London, the decision by Professors Hellie and Wilson is not wholly unrelated to the political situation in the United States.
