Strong Speech by Senator Reid, Democrat of Nevada

Here.  Reid is so much better than the pathetic Daschle (the South Dakota Democrat and prevous Minority Leader in the Senate, who was defeated in the 2004 elections).  That he apparently dislikes Bush viscerally no doubt helps (and shows he’s got some sound instincts).  The key question, in terms of whether America has any future as a civilized nation, will be whether the new-found Democratic chutzpah will translate into substantial election victories in 2006.
