…to the more than 300 readers who shared a bit about themselves here and here, as well as to others who e-mailed me directly (I realize not everyone cares to volunteer information about themselves in a public forum).  It really was a fascinating and gratifying snapshot of many of the folks who are regular readers.  I appreciate your kind words about the blog, your suggestions, your informative self-descriptions, your amusing anecdotes, and your insight into what you especially value here.  I’ll try my best to continue to be worthy of a bit of your time.

I was originally thinking of commenting on a few of your comments, but there turned out to be so many that piqued my interest, that this will have to wait until I have more time, hopefully in December.
