Useful Things for Professors to Know about Students with Disabilities

I caught this useful set of advice via a link on IHE.   One striking point a former Dean of Students here made was that the very significant improvements in the treatment of mental illnesses, in particular, over the past thirty years (in terms of both cognitive-behavioral therapy for symptom management and amelioration, and pharmacological interventions) means that there are now far more students with psychological maladies pursuing higher education than was true a generation ago.
