Maitra, Weatherson from Rutgers to Michigan

Ishani Maitra (philosophy of language, feminist philosophy), Assistant Professor of Philosophy at Rutgers University, Newark and New Brunswick, and Brian Weatherson (epistemology, metaphysics, philosophy of language), Associate Professor of Philosophy at Rutgers University, New Brunswick, have both accepted tenured offers from the Department of Philosophy at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, effective January 2012.  This marks the third senior departure from Rutgers in the last 12 months (the others being Alan Code, who is going to Stanford, and Tim Maudlin, who went to NYU).
