U.S. News Reputation Survey of Lawyers and Judges

The response rate to this survey is veyr low–12% this year.  Because the rates are so low, they average two years' worth of results, which helps avoid arbitrary fluctuations.  They still on disclose the geographic breakdown of respondents, a serious lacuna.  All the evidence suggests that firms in the Northeast corridor are overrepresented in the response pool, but we can't know for sure.
