Ruth Barcan Marcus NY Times Obituary Update

I've been travelling and largely off-line the last week or so, hence the delay in noting that the NY Times corrected the error in the on-line version of the obituary.  As Stephen Neale (CUNY) wrote to me, "The writer, who is a journalist, not a philosopher or mathematician, had the unenviable task of distilling material that was alien and technical into something the average NYT reader could comprehend, and doing so within very strict word limit."
