I’ve now got…

an academic room, which seems to be attracting a number of philosophers who haven't used academia.edu.  Any reason to prefer one to the other?  Curious what people's experience has been of one or both.

  2. Academic Room is a content platform for philosophy and other disciplines, while Academia is a peer-to-peer social network. If you are interested in a specific disciplinary orientation and want to curate content, then the former is an attractive option. I have had enough of social networks and they seem to be a big waste of time.
