Wisconsin legislature may take up legislation permitting “concealed carry” on campus in January

A beanbrain legislator from rural Wisconsin plans to introduce the legislation, which was defeated previously.  The Associated Students of Madison has launched a petition in opposition, which is here.  You should sign if you have a Wisconsin connection–obviously faculty and students, but also, for example, parents with children at Wisconsin colleges.

UDPATE:  Ohio too is on the edge of this insanity.
