UPDATE: Alas, some anti-abortion crazies in cyberspace ruined the poll, sending lots of non-readers to screw up the survey–they were obviously too stupid or ignorant to realize that the point was to see what kind of consensus, if any, exists among philosophcially-minded readers of this blog on this issue (especially compared to this one), not among random nobodies in the population at large.  But the dumb-dumbs responsible for this did post the results prior to their meddling, so we can see that the consensus on abortion is less robust, and tilting in a different direction than the poll on factory farming:

The point of these surveys is to find out something about the sociology of the academic profession of philosophy and the moral beliefs characteristic of its members.  It's a shame this one got ruined.
