Economics is a weird discipline. The first acknowledgement of gender disparity (but not harassment) was in the early 1970s! There were some initiatives. Things got a bit better and then stalled – for decades. I would assume that harassment in the discipline is neither better nor worse than in other places. There has been some high profile cases: https://www.nytimes.com/2018/12/18/business/economy/roland-fryer-harvard.html but nothing that would systematically tackle the issue.
