Professor Jean-Luc Solère (Boston College), the book review editor of Journal of the History of Philosophy, writes:

The recipient of the 2019 Journal of the History of Philosophy Book Prize for the best book in the history of philosophy published in 2018 is: Richard Arthur (Professor Emeritus, McMaster University), for his Monads, Composition, and Force: Ariadnean Threads Through Leibniz’s Labyrinth (Oxford University Press).
