I'd never heard that Warpig song before. It does sound suspiciously similar to Deep Purple's' 'Fireball'. Ritchie Blackmore has admitted to ripping off other people's riffs for Deep Purple songs like 'Black Night', so I wouldn't be surprised if something like that happened in this case, too.
