Amanda Greene (political philosophy), Associate Professor of Philosophy at University College London, has accepted a tenured offer from the Department of Philosophy at the University of California, Santa Barbara, where she will start as Associate Professor in fall 2022.  This is the second recent major appointment in value theory by UCSB from the UK, after Elinor Mason who moved from the University of Edinburgh in 2020.
