Carlos Santana (philosophy of science [esp. biology, cognitive science, and linguistics], environmental philosophy), currently Associate Professor of Philosophy at the University of Utah, has accepted appointment as Associate Professor of Philosophy at the University of Pennsylvania (where he did his PhD), effective this fall. He will join Michael Weisberg and Quayshawn Spencer at Penn, making for one of the strongest philosophy of biology groups in the U.S.
