He will donate his entire salary for the visiting professorship (for several weeks each summer) to an organization supporting Ukraine in its fight against the Russian invaders.  (We noted his visit last summer here.)  This is a truly admirable commitment by Professor Stanley.

(I do disagree with Stanley's characterization of what's happening in Ukraine as the "center" of a "global fight against fascism."   It is a just fight against an illegal war of aggression, but the aggression has nothing to do with fascism and everything to do with Russian strategic interests, as many have pointed out.)
