Blog Stats for October

Over 14,000 visits to the site last month, a 50% increase from September. More than 500 visits on average each weekday, but that drops off on the weekend quite a bit. This confirms that the blogosphere has now joined e-mail as one of the primary drags on workplace productivity.

Query: how many of these are repeat visits in a single day? I can’t tell. Reflecting on my own blog-reading habits, I note that I might visit Crooked Timber several times in a day, once to actually read, but the other times for their great list of links to other blog sites.
