The list of law faculty elected to the British Academy–the British analogue of the American Academy of Arts & Sciences (except that all the sciences are recognized solely by The Royal Society)–is here. In addition, the British Academy has elected as “Corresponding Fellows” a handful of American law faculty: Judge Guido Calabresi of the 2nd Circuit, who still teaches part-time at Yale; Judge Richard Posner of the 7th Circuit, who still teaches part-time at Chicago; Allan Farnsworth of Columbia Law School; and the legal historian R.H. Helmholz of the University of Chicago Law School. (My late colleague Charles Alan Wright was also a Corresponding Fellow, until his untimely death in 2000.)

Unlike in philosophy, relatively few British Academy law fellows are on American law faculties, and those that are hold part-time positions in the U.S. They are as follows (all part-time; * marks those over 70):
